Boarding/Bathing

When you drop off your pet at a boarding facility, you’re not just asking someone to feed and water it as if it were a plant. You’re asking someone to love and care for your pet, a member of your family, while you have to be away from home. At Animal Medical Center, we get it; we know that you are entrusting us with the physical and emotional well-being of your much-loved furry companion, and we are ready to be there for both you and your pet.

At Animal Medical Center, we take pride in our clean and secure boarding facilities that accommodate both dogs and cats. Our canine guests have access to comfortable indoor kennels and runs and are taken outside to play and take care of business several times a day. Our feline friends are housed in a separate area away from their rambunctious doggy counterparts. They receive individualized attention several times a day, and they are supplied with cozy beds, blankets, and litter boxes. You are welcome to bring your dog or cat’s bedding, treats, and toys from home if you think it will make them feel more at ease, however we do supply all of those things for you.

We provide a Science Diet Sensitive Stomach for all boarding guests; however, you are welcome to bring in a daily supply of your pet's food from home to avoid any upset tummies. Our staff monitors the appetite and urination/bowel movements of each boarded pet, and our veterinarian will be alerted if any problems are noted. Patients who are boarding and require medications will receive their meds as prescribed. We want your pets to be happy and healthy while they are in our care.

To ensure that your pet goes home fresh and clean, we recommend a bath. We offer separate routine bathing services that you may want to take advantage of while your pet is staying with us. We can also provide therapeutic bathing, nail trims, anal gland expression, and ear cleaning.

All boarding guests must be up to date on their shots and parasite free for their own protection and for the safety of other boarders and patients. We prefer male dogs to be neutered.
